| To give all fans an identity. For decades all the fan ever heard was "Dawg Pound." The fans helped to build the stadium, and save the team, isn't it time the rest of the fans had a name? We love the "Dawg Pound" and John "Big Dawg" Thompson, but we do not sit in the "Dawg Pound" and we are sure "Big Dawg" doesn't represents us. The CKC will remain faceless represented only by our Mascot, this allows us to represent all fans fairly. |
| Keep alive the history of the Browns, it's players and personnel, and the move to Baltimore. |
| The Cleveland Kennel Club was created to give the Cleveland Browns fans a club that is not owned, operated, controlled, funded or dependent on the NFL or the Cleveland Browns. Like the original "Dawg Pound" before Art Modell trademarked it! |
| The CKC will work with any deserving charity, sports group, school, hospital, whatever to help them raise awareness of their program, and/or to raise money. The Cleveland Kennel Club is here for them. |
| Allow any affiliated group to profit as much or more from the CKC than we do running it. |
| We open our doors to deserving artist and designers of Cleveland Kennel Club gear. We know how hard it is to take an idea from the drawing board to the retail level. OUR DOORS ARE OPEN to anyone that has a good idea, illustration or concept. |
| Finally, to bring back the fun of Browns Town. |
| The CKC will hold back any attempt to gain NFL licensing until we can be assured that Art Modell and the Baltimore Ravens do not profit from the sale of Cleveland Browns merchandise and/or Hanford Dixon's Cleveland Kennel Club items. After all they never paid Hanford for the Dawg Pound. |
